UMC Faculty of Economics and Business Management Program Achieves "Unggul" (Excellent) Accreditation from LAMEMBA, Strengthening Commitment to Quality Education

The Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon (UMC) successfully obtained the predicate Superior Accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Body for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA). The recognition was established through LAMEMBA Decree Number 124/DE/A.5/LAMEMBA-U/VI/2026 and is valid for five years, starting from June 5, 2026, to June 5, 2031.

This achievement is a significant milestone for UMC in its efforts to improve the quality of higher education. The Superior Accreditation demonstrates that the Management Study Program has met quality standards covering governance, the learning process, research, community service, and various quality assurance indicators set by the accreditation institution.

Rector of Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon, Arif Nurudin, M.T., -, conveying appreciation to the entire academic community who have contributed to the accreditation process. According to him, this success is the result of the cooperation of all university elements who consistently strive to improve the quality of education and the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

He affirmed that these achievements are not only a point of pride for the Management Study Program, but also proof that the governance system, academic services, and quality culture at UMC are continuously developing in accordance with higher education standards.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UMC, Dr. Asep Gunawan, also conveyed gratitude for the success. He explained that all stages of accreditation could be completed thanks to the hard work of the accreditation document preparation team, lecturers, education staff, students, alumni, as well as support from various partners who have been collaborating with the faculty.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Management Study Program at FEB UMC, Puspa Dewi Yulianti, M.M., expressing appreciation to all parties who have provided support throughout the preparation and field assessment process. According to him, the success in achieving the Superior Accreditation predicate is a mandate that must be maintained through continuous quality improvement.

He added that the Management Study Program will continue to develop its curriculum based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and Outcome-Based Education (OBE), so as to produce graduates who have professional competence, integrity, and are ready to face the ever-evolving needs of the world of work.

With the attainment of Excellent Accreditation, the Management Study Program of FEB UMC further strengthens its position as one of the competitive study programs in the Cirebon region and its surroundings. This achievement is expected to enhance public trust and serve as motivation to continue providing quality education services.

Moving forward, the Management Study Program is committed to expanding cooperation with various institutions, both nationally and internationally, increasing research productivity and scientific publications, and strengthening community service activities. Through these various efforts, UMC is optimistic that it can maintain the quality standards achieved while producing superior, adaptive graduates who can contribute to community development.
