FISIP UMC Encourages Accomplished Students and Strengthens Pride as a Muhammadiyah Family

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon (UMC) continues to demonstrate its commitment to shaping students with character, discipline, and pride in their alma mater. This faculty emphasizes the importance of developing academic achievements alongside strengthening Muhammadiyah values in students' lives.
Dean of FISIP UMC, Drs. Subhan, M.Si., stated that the diversity of student backgrounds is an important asset in building a strong and competitive academic environment. He emphasized that every student needs to set their intentions, clarify their study goals, and demonstrate sincerity in pursuing their education on campus.
He also reminded that being a student in the Muhammadiyah environment is not just about academics, but also a moral responsibility to be a person who benefits society. Therefore, students are required to be able to adapt, be disciplined, and utilize all available facilities in order to complete their studies optimally.
Furthermore, students are also expected to be able to protect Muhammadiyah's good name by demonstrating achievements and tangible contributions to society. FISIP UMC emphasizes the importance of pride in being part of the extended Muhammadiyah family, which plays a role in shaping generations of integrity and ethics.
FISIP UMC itself continues to develop various programs based on collaboration, social research, and community service to strengthen student competencies, especially in the fields of leadership, communication, and socio-political analysis.
With the foundation of progressive Islamic values, FISIP UMC is committed to producing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also morally and socially mature, and ready to make positive contributions to society, the campus, and the nation.
