Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon (UMC) has once again achieved a proud accomplishment through the success of two of its female students in the Pasanggiri Nok Kacung Kabupaten Cirebon 2025 competition. Nanda Nurpadilah Kartika, a student of the Nutrition Science Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES), successfully won first place, while Rikha Kamalia, a fourth-semester student of the Communication Science Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), received an award in the category Digital Touch.

The winner announcement was made on the night of the grand final, which took place at Patra Cirebon Hotel and Convention on Saturday, April 26, 2025. This success is proof of UMC's commitment to supporting the development of student potential, not only in academics but also in the fields of arts, culture, and creativity.

Cirebon Regent, Imron Rosyadi, expressed his appreciation to the winners and assessed that the Pasanggiri Nok Kacung event is an important platform for instilling cultural values, character, and love for regional identity. According to him, the event teaches young generations about the meaning of dedication, sincerity, and the importance of preserving cultural heritage amidst the times.

UMC Rector Arif Nurudin expressed pride in the achievements of the two students, emphasizing that this accomplishment reflects UMC's success in creating an educational environment that supports the comprehensive development of student abilities, both in academic and non-academic aspects.

The Vice Rector III of UMC, Dr. Wiwi Hartati, conveyed a similar sentiment, assessing that competitions like the Pasanggiri Nok Kacung serve as a strategic space for students to develop creativity, boost their self-confidence, and broaden their regional experience.

Meanwhile, the Head of Student Affairs at UMC, M. Khozinul Huda, M.Pd.I., explained that this achievement is the result of the university's continuous coaching and support provided to students. According to him, UMC remains committed to providing various opportunities for students to develop their talents, interests, and competencies through diverse student activities.

The achievements of Nanda Nurpadilah Kartika and Rikha Kamalia further strengthen the track record of UMC students in various prestigious competitions. This accomplishment also serves as proof that UMC consistently cultivates a culture of achievement and produces graduates who are not only academically excellent but also possess character, creativity, and competitiveness to contribute to society.
