The Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon (FKIP UMC) is holding a Leadership Project Expo for 2024. This event is a form of implementation of the leadership course, manifested in various innovative student projects that benefit the community.

The Dean of FKIP UMC appreciated the students' initiative in presenting solution-based activities for the community. He assessed that direct community involvement in the planning and implementation of projects can foster a sense of ownership and strengthen the relationship between the campus and the community.

In addition, this activity is also considered to be an inspiration for the surrounding environment by demonstrating the tangible contributions of students in solving social problems through applicable works.

Meanwhile, the Head of the UMC PPG Study Program explained that the leadership project is a core subject designed to shape prospective teachers as learning leaders and agents of change. This subject combines training, case studies, and direct experience based on community service.

Through the project, students are expected to be able to improve their leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as generate innovations that have a positive and sustainable impact on society. Some of the works exhibited include used cooking oil waste processing into soap, compost production, and eco-printing.
