Lecturers of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon (FKIP UMC) continue to demonstrate their commitment to educating the nation through community service activities. One such activity was carried out at SMPN 1 Jamblang, Cirebon Regency, focusing on improving teachers' competence in utilizing learning technology.

This activity was led by Dila Charisma, M.Pd., along with team members Eline Rozaliya Winarto, S.S., M.Hum., and Sumliyah, M.Pd. They conducted training and mentoring on creating technology-based learning media, such as presentation design and infographics using Canva, as well as learning videos through Prezi Video.

This community service program began with a focus group discussion (FGD) to identify teacher needs, followed by intensive training in late September 2024. During the implementation, teachers were introduced to techniques for creating more creative and interactive learning media that are appropriate for the characteristics of today's generation of students.

In addition to technical skills, this activity also emphasizes the importance of communication and presentation skills. Teachers are given the opportunity to practice their work and receive feedback to improve the quality of their teaching in the classroom.

The head of SMPN 1 Jamblang, Johari, M.Pd., expressed appreciation for the contribution of FKIP UMC lecturers, who have been able to help teachers adapt to the development of educational technology. He hopes that similar activities can continue so that teachers are better prepared to face the challenges of learning in the digital era.

Through this activity, FKIP UMC strives not only to improve the technical skills of teachers, but also to encourage the creation of learning innovations that are more interesting, effective, and relevant to the needs of today's students.
