Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon (UMC) held its 2022/2023 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony at the Convention Hall of Campus 2 UMC, Jalan Watu Belah, on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Along with the execution of this event, traffic flow arrangements and diversions were implemented around the event location to support the smooth running of the graduation procession.

UMC Rector, Arif Nurudin, M.T., apologized to the public if the implemented traffic engineering caused inconvenience to road users. He explained that security and traffic control were carried out because the graduation ceremony was attended by several important guests from various regions, including Jakarta and Bandung.

While reviewing the preparations for the graduation ceremony, Arif expressed gratitude for UMC's continuous progress. At 22 years old, UMC is once again holding its 30th graduation, conferring degrees upon 237 students from various study programs.

He explained that during this graduation period, the number of bachelor's, diploma, and professional graduates exceeded one thousand. Overall, UMC has produced over 20,000 graduates who are expected to become superior, professional, independent human resources, grounded in Islamic values.

According to Arif, the achievement reflects UMC's real contribution in supporting the improvement of higher education quality and human resource development in Indonesia. He also invited the entire academic community, partners, and the public to jointly ensure the success of the graduation ceremony so that it can proceed safely, orderly, and smoothly.

Furthermore, Arif emphasized that graduation is not merely an academic ceremony, but a symbol of recognition for students' success in completing higher education. This momentum also marks the graduates' readiness to apply their knowledge, demonstrate maturity in thought and action, and contribute positively to society and the workforce.
